16/10/11:
A really good result against the top team thus far in the division and tribute to the hard work put in by the players and the confidence they deserve.
The coaching teams for Hungerford and Wanborough agreed that both sides played brilliant football with excellent performances from all and it was a pleasure to watch.
Hungerford opened the score sheet with a fine goal and then Jacob Chilcott equalized for Wanborough. Both Tom Moore and Will Sumner came very close to scoring as did Matthew Goldfinch who had a shot on goal. Eventually Liam O'Reilly took Wanborough back ahead with a fine finish to a good pass from Will Sumner. Hungerford then equalized and the score was a fair reflection of two strong teams who played consistently throughout the match. Christian Pau was absolutely solid in Wanborough's defence. Joel Trojan for Wanborough made some exceptional saves and Hungerford's goalie matched this with some confident goalkeeping. Cameron, Daniel and Jake all put in good efforts with Man of the Match being Matt Goldfinch and Captains Man of the Match Jacob Chilcott.
